National sprinter Warren Weir has used Instagram to show his support for former Racers Track Club teammate Yohan Blake, after it was reported he will no longer be trained by veteran coach Glen Mills.

Mills had earlier spoken of differences between himself and Blake and said that while the 2011 100m World Champion will remain at Racers, he is now being coached by Patrick Dawson.

Weir posted a photo to the social media site earlier this evening, with a caption saying Blake will always have his support.

"I know where ever (sic) you go or whatever you put your mind to you will achieve greatness," Weir said. "Forever by my brother's side and forever my brother's keeper.

"A closed chapter means a new beginning."

Weir left Racers last year and has since migrated to Florida, where he now trains.
